Xcel Proposes Changes to Solar Rebate Program

If approved by the state PUC, the change would enable third party companies to access the rebate money from the Solar*Rewards program, not just property owners. The goal is to make it easier for more solar panels to be installed on homeowners’ roofs in the state, without consumers being required to shell out big money upfront for their systems.
