Noble Energy Will Invest $1.7 Billion in Colorado in 2013
The company said it is raising the estimate of recoverable oil in its Denver-Julesburg Basin properties 60 percent to the equivalent of 2.1 billion barrels. The cash infusion will help the company increase the number of wells drilled in the Weld County portion of the basin, to 300 in 2013 and 500 a year by 2017, according to a Noble statement.
