Drilling Activity to Remain Flat in Garfield County for 2010
According to the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, Garfield County produced more than 390 billion cubic feet (bcf) of natural gas through the month of October, 2009, compared to more than 520 bcf for all of 2008.

Energy Companies Settle 2008 Roan Stormwater Violations
According to the settlement details announced by the State yesterday, Enterprise Products Operating LLC will pay $182,000, Berry Petroleum Company $150,000 and Marathon Oil Company $98,000. All the money will go into the state’s Water Quality Improvement Fund.
