The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and the Oil and Gas Conservation Commission said the meetings will provide information about the regulatory roles of state agencies and existing regulations governing oil and gas development.

EPA Orders Redo of Air-Permit Analysis for
Weld County Facility
The Federal agency contends the initial study of pollution was too narrow and that the state failed to adequately evaluate overall pollution impacts. Signed by Administrator Lisa Jackson, the order said the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment “failed to adequately support or explain” its decision.
