Cleantech VC Investment Jumps in Q2 —
Colorado Firms in Top 5 of New Energy Deals

Boulder-based Tendril, a manufacture of smart grid software, received $30 million in funding; and alternative fuels producer, Gevo in Englewood, was the recipient of $40 million. The deals put both start-ups in the top five reported venture-capital funding transactions nationwide for clean energy in the second quarter.
