Colorado to Undertake Major Study on Oil and Gas Emissions
The project launching this summer will provide information about how oil and gas emissions behave, how they travel and their characteristics in areas along the northern Front Range. A second phase would assess possible health effects using information collected in the first phase.

CO2 Emissions
The bigger news is that CO2 emissions in the state decreased 47 percent between 2000 and 2010, according to the report issued Friday by the Environmental Integrity Project. Nationwide, emissions rose more than 5.56 percent in 2010 from the previous year.
