Any entrepreneur seeking to enter the deadline to enter the 2012 Cleantech Open’s Rocky Mountain region competition had better hurry. The deadline is May 8th.
The competition provides early-stage entrepreneurs and small businesses with access to mentorship and training services from experts, in addition to much-needed exposure to national investors.
Cleantech Open categories include water, air, waste; energy efficiency; green building; renewable energy; smart power and storage; and transportation.
The Rocky Mountain Cleantech Open is part of a national competition that covers 33 states. The Rocky Mountain region includes Arizona, Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming.
Participants chosen to compete get training, access to one of the world’s largest clean-tech networks, complimentary participation in events, and the chance to compete for prizes at both the regional and national level.
Since the competition started seven years ago, 581 companies have raised $660 million in external funding.
