EnergyLogic Expands Training Facility — Potential New Job Opportunities for 500 Students Per Year

EnergyLogic, Inc. tells Colorado Energy News its expansion at the Berthoud training facility is to meet the demand for accredited home energy auditors and raters. Up to 500 students per year will take classes in the 3,600 square-foot facility in Berthoud. 

The building addition will provide space for new hands-on training opportunities with a variety of mechanical systems and weatherization techniques.

Classes are ongoing in the current 2,500 square-foot facility, located on east Highway 56. EnergyLogic offers certifications for the Residential Energy Service Network (RESNET) Home Energy Rater, Building Performance Institute (BPI) Building Analyst, and WaterSense Inspector. Other training is also available for EnergyStar New Homes, commercial audits and plan analysis for building professionals.

According to the company, energy auditors work for government agencies, utilities, nonprofit and private firm and have salaries ranging from $35,000 to $50,000 per year. Interested parties should contact EnergyLogic at 970-532-3220 or www.nrglogic.com.
