Colorado Geo Energy Heat Pump Group Hosts Conference
Generation Geo 2010 Conference & Expo
September 23 - 24, Denver Marriott West, Golden, Colorado
The Colorado Geo Energy Heat Pump Association invites you to an exciting look at the present and future of geoexchange at Generation Geo 2010.
The mindset of reducing our energy consumption, using energy more efficiently and using less fossil fuel sources is here to stay. Heating and cooling the built environment, which accounts for 40% of our nation’s total energy use, is a big target where these principles can be applied. By using the technology of geoexchange (ground source heat pumps) to heat and cool buildings, not only can the cost and amount of energy be significantly reduced, but the associated carbon emissions decrease as well. Recognized years ago by the EPA as “the most energy-efficient, environmentally clean and cost effective space conditioning system available,” geoexchange technology is a proven, yet underutilized technology.
Generation Geo’s program is tailored to both experienced professionals as well as newcomers seeking to enter this exciting new business market.
Unlike many renewable and energy efficiency technologies, geoexchange systems are largely unseen. For example, the loop fields, where heat exchange takes place, is underground.
Yet there is a variety of products, techniques and equipment that
make it all work – see it at the Expo!
