DENVER - Evergreen Energy Inc. (NYSE Arca: EEE)  has promoted Miles Mahoney to president and general manager of C-Lock Technology Inc., the company’s subsidiary that owns the GreenCert™ carbon information management solution.

“Now with a patented and peer-reviewed carbon information management solution, we have installed Miles to grow top-line revenue with and through strategic software and hardware partnerships, develop and expand key global software and hardware partnerships and drive adoption of our solutions into the new multi-regulatory carbon global economy,” said Thomas H. GreenCert is a carbon management solution that minimizes greenhouse gas(GHG) risks and maximizes benefits through accurate, precise and verifiable measurement of GHG emissions.  Using significant intellectual property, in addition to minimizing carbon risk on a real-time, enterprise-wide basis, GreenCert’s carbon trading platform will enable clients to create and sell verified carbon offsets based on the sustainable practices they have adopted to reduce their GHG footprints.
