Staff-Compiled
Williams Companies, Inc., said it has received FERC approval to construct a natural gas transmission pipeline dubbed the Colorado Hub. The line will connect the Meeker/White River hub with Northwest’s existing mainline system south of Rangely, according to the natural gas producer and pipeline operator.
Total cost for the new 24-inch pipeline that will run 27.4
miles is estimated at $60 million with construction expected
to begin sometime next month, and an in-service date of
November 1.
Williams Pipeline Partners LP (WMZ.N) owns a 35 percent interest in Northwest Pipeline GP, the Williams Companies’ unit that received the approval from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).
