The Colorado Energy Research Institute, located at the Colorado School of Mines, leverages our state’s long tradition of energy leadership by bringing industry, government, and academic interests together to tackle challenging energy issues. CERI helps coordinate research statewide to develop clean fossil and renewable energy resources. The organization’s multi-faceted mission includes positioning Colorado as a leader in the energy industry and researching promising hybrid technologies. CERI enables companies to outsource specific research needs and manage R&D risk. It also hosts important industry conferences, including the Oil Shale Symposium, in conjunction with the Colorado School of Mines.
